In the 90s, we didn’t have to think twice about eco‑friendly living it was just the way we lived . A glass jar wasn’t trash it became a spice holder, a flower vase, or a lunchbox for pickles and chutneys. Grocery bags were folded and reused until they tore, then used again to line bins. Ice cream tubs enjoyed second lives as storage boxes, and old clothes ended up as floor rags or pillow covers. We repaired things before replacing them, and we never bought more than we needed. Today, we talk endlessly about “green” choices, but our habits often speak louder than our intentions. We sip through reusable straws yet indulge in fast‑fashion hauls. We install solar panels yet leave lights blazing all night. Maybe the real solution isn’t in the latest gadget it’s in reviving those time tested practices. Let’s blend the ingenuity of the past with today’s eco‑awareness. Sustainability isn’t a trend it’s a way of life we already knew. It’s time to remember.
